"Do I Need To Use Towing Mirrors?"

When you are towing your caravan or any other trailer that is wider than the narrowest part of the rear of your vehicle, it is a legal requirement in the UK that you fit additional towing mirrors. These towing mirrors must be E-marked.

Towing mirrors are available as Flat or Convex, the difference between the two mirros are below:

* The flat mirror enables the driver to see exactly what is behind them in the correct proportion.
* The convex mirror makes the image smaller but enables the driver to see more.


Choosing which type of mirror to use (Flat or Convex) is down to personal preference.
